I am guilty of stacking dishes in the sink and leaving it until there is no room.
I usually end up doing it after Hazzy's had his dinner, before hubby gets home. But this has become a real pain (literally) now that I have a growing belly. My arms can't quite reach the bottom of the sink so I have to kind of crouch my back while washing the dishes. Because by this time of day, the dishes have become quite substantial, I have to stay in this uncomfortable position for quite some time. Also, Hazzy hates it when I am in the kitchen and protests loudly by shaking the child-safety gate violently while crying.
That is why I have decided to finally make a change.
From now on, I will do the dishes after each meal. No more procrastinating.
I know it takes more than sheer will to make this happen, so one tactic I use is filling the sink with soapy water while I cook. This way, I can place the dirty dishes in there as I cook and finish my meal, and it will feel like half of the work is already done.

They say it takes a month for a habit to take place, so hopefully if I keep this up for a month I will have fixed my procrastinating problem for good.
Do you have any tips on how to make washing up after meals an easier task?
